Gin Tasting at Yeaveley Estate
We offer a fun and relaxed gin tasting experience perfect for any celebration, get together or for stag or hen do. If you are staying with us here at Yeaveley Estate, David will come to you to host your gin experience. During the tasting you’ll enjoy six perfect gin and tonics, hear all about the history of this wonderful spirit and how it makes the incredible journey from field to table.
During the gin tastings, guests taste 6 gins neat before mixing the ‘perfect serve’ gin and tonic with garnishes as suggested by the distiller of each gin. David talks guests through the history of gin as well as how it is produced. With David having been a distiller, his tastings are very much about the product, He is not a bartender or mixologist so is not showing guests how to make cocktails. He will get you to think about using garnishes sparingly as well as not using tonics that are too flavoursome so that the flavours from the gin itself come through in the G&T. Guests also take part in a fun ‘guess the botanicals’ quiz for which David provides a prize. Guests enjoy this, but it does tend to get quite competitive!
The cost for this marvellous evening of gin tasting is £40 per person based on a minimum of 8 people.
