Air rifle meet. We welcome everyone to our air rifle meets regardless of experience, we are happy to help newcomers to the sport of Air Rifle Target Shooting.
The Range fee is £10.00 for age 16+ and under 16 is £7 per visit. This includes 3rd party liability insurance for the day, for those have paid the range fee and who are shooting.
Our Derbyshire Air Rife Meets do not operate a membership structure and are open to everyone, whether you’re a total novice or experienced shooter everyone is welcome.
The air rifle meets are on Sunday mornings from 9.30am til 1pm Entries are from 9.30am until 11am only, on the dates shown in the calendar at Yeaveley Estate, Ashbourne, DE6 2DT. There is no need to book – just turn up to take part.
Novice/Junior shooters are always welcome – subject to legal requirements it is possible to hire an air rifle for use on the range providing we have advance notice – please call the Gunroom on 01335 330247 or email us if you’d like to discuss this and book an air rifle.
Everyone welcome, as are spectators providing they remain within the safe areas of the shooting course. If you are at all unsure where you may walk ask one of the ground marshals to guide you. You may bring dogs but they must be kept on leads at all times.
There are toilets, hot/cold drinks and breakfast available within the Shooting Lodge. Please note we do not accept cards for payment on these events.
